Rochester, NY - Water
St. - 10/21/2000
By Ryan Ball
Hey everyone, I'm suprised
that no-one has reviewed
last saturday's show yet, cause it was simply amazing.
The show was as unique as the talents of
sunnyday...kicking off with a last minute opening by
this dude walter p. who earlier played his accordian
for pennies on the st. while the crowd filed in. As
William told us before introducing Walter, ryan the
drummer from euphone had injured himself pretty badly
due to this they couldn't open up. Enter Walter
rocking out with his accordian making for one of the
coolest opening sets that I have ever seen. Walter
however was no match for the blistering set SDRE threw
at us. Opening with pheurton Skeurto then sliding
into one and rocking hard until they ended it all with
the ever beautiful rising tide....other songs that are
worth mentioning (besides all of them):j'nuh...killed
by an angel...song about an angel(made me
cry)...pillars..48...seven!....100,000,000..and an
amazing rendition of eight.......oh and of course in
circles.
scortching night
from an amazing band
hope that they make it up the state again!
with love
ryan
