Hello people-
What can I say about Sunny Day Real Estate's performance on tuesday night? The question should be- what can't I say. The presence of this band is incredible. If you were to see only one Sunny Day Real Estate concert, this would be the one you would dream to attend. As their first show of the new tour, they out-did themselves. Many songs off The Rising Tide, as well as a wide array of songs from previous albums were performed. SDRE plays so tight, it is unreal- especially with the slaying of the drums by Will. He killed it! I've never seen anyone hit the drums that hard before- and it sounded amazingly good! I'm sure the crowd, although smaller than I had expected, was as ecstatic as I was at hearing Seven, Pheurton Skeurto and 48 played live. It has been a long, long time since they have played those songs; I was thrilled to hear them LIVE!! This was quite a treat. Enigk's singing sounded excellent and the harmonizing was great. Hoerner's time was flawless (at least in my ear!) I can't wait to hear how the rest of the tour goes. If it's anything like tuesday night, then everywhere else on the tour sheet prepare for a great performance. Great show, guys!
